Design of Steel Structure
Svoboda, Radek ; Vlk, Zbyněk (referee) ; Zídek, Rostislav (advisor)
Topic of the master’s thesis is design and assessment of steel construction of the industrial building used to glass sand treatment. The building has the top view dimensions 12,0 x 12,0 m and roof ridge height 15,6 m. Disposition if the individual elements was designed according to conditions of the technology and production process. The thesis focus on creating of computational model and assessment to ultimate and serviceability limit states of individual elements. Further thesis contains of design and optimisation of some joints.
Modal analysis experimental method verification
Pop, Miroslav ; Lošák, Petr (referee) ; Houfek, Martin (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of operational modal analysis, which is one of the newer areas of structural dynamics that makes it possible to estimate modal properties of structures directly during their operation. The aim of this work is to create theoretical basis of operational modal analysis, more specifically of Frequeny Domain Decomposition method. Furthermore, apply this method to a selected structure and verify the achieved results using computational modelling and experimental modal analysis. The technique of dividing the experiment to separate measurements using reference sensor was used. Evaluation of the operational modal analysis was performed using self-created function for the MATLAB software and using the commercial PULSE Operational Modal Analysis software. Obtained results were verified by computational modelling and experimental modal analysis.
Exact solution of bending vibrations of beams
Machoň, Matěj ; Habán, Vladimír (referee) ; Havlásek, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with the analytical determination of eigenfrequencies and mode shapes of the prismatic beam. The solution is compared with the experimental data and validated. The analytical relations for determination of eigenfrequencies and mode shapes of prismatic beam expressed by basic functions and also by Krylov functions are the results of the thesis.
Oscillation of the compressible fluid in the cylindrical space
Smolík, Adam ; Habán, Vladimír (referee) ; Pochylý, František (advisor)
The thesis includes two main parts. The first part comprises the theoretical analysis, i.e. literary research. It has been focused on questions regarding compressive pulsation and possible damping elements. The second part focuses on the formation of mathematical model of transition of matrix gas accumulator, the hydraulic set formation by the transition matrix method, the deduction of innate and constrained values and the compressible liquid mode shapes in cylindrical space.
Study of dynamic effect on a bridge structure with moving loads
Zavřelová, Michaela ; Martinásek, Josef (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
The goal of the master thesis is a dynamic parametric study on the dynamic effects of high-speed train using the HSLM-A load model on a railway bridge. The calculation model is processed, in RFEM 5.29.01 with RF-MOVE module and prerelease versions RFEM 6 and RSTAB 9, as a 2D member in the XZ plane. Furthermore, static load cases and load models LM 71 and HSLM-A are created. The HSLM-A load model is processed for universal trains A1-A10, which each cross the railway bridge at a total of 15 speeds ranging from 120 km/h to 400 km/h. A detailed parametric study of the dependence of the maximum deformation and acceleration in the Z direction on the speeds of each train set is performed. Modal and time history analysis is used in the parametric study. Part of the work is to determine the resonance region.
Flat Plates Vibrations
Zajac, Roman ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Prokop, Aleš (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on vibration of the planar plates. It includes the computational and experimental approaches used to determine the mode shapes and frequencies (eigenvalues) of planar plates. This paper compares the analytical, numerical and experimental results of the modal analysis specifically the free-standing rectangular planar plate. The work also encompasses forced oscillation with harmonious excitement as a continuation of the obtained results from modal analysis.
Vibration mode shape extraction of bladed disk
Mekhalfia, Mohammed Lamine ; Procházka, Pavel ; Tchawou Tchuisseu, Eder Batista ; Maturkanič, Dušan ; Hodboď, Robert
This research paper deals with the experimental protocol followed to visualize the vibration mode shape of an aero-engine bladed disk. This study is based on a comparison between the numerical results obtained through Finite element methods (FEM) using ANSYS software and experimentally using the laser Doppler vibrometer. Therefore the bladed disk was transformed into a 3D virtual environment and structural analysis was performed. The results demonstrate a match between the numerical and the experimental one, this match offers the possibility for using the model for future studies.
